What Is One Touch Switch?

One Touch Switch lets most UK residential broadband customers move provider by contacting the new provider only.

How One Touch Switch works

  1. You choose a new broadband provider.
  2. You give the new provider your address and current provider details.
  3. Your details are matched against your current provider's records.
  4. Your current provider sends switching information, such as early termination charges and bundle impacts.
  5. If you confirm, the new provider manages the switch and tells the old provider when the new service is working.

Why it matters

One Touch Switch reduces the need to coordinate two broadband companies yourself. It is designed to reduce avoidable downtime, duplicated notice charges and awkward cancellation calls.

You should still read the switching information carefully, especially if you are still inside a minimum contract period or have a broadband, TV and phone bundle.
