What to check
- Find the confirmed activation date from your order emails or account.
- Note the actual date the service started working, or whether the order was cancelled.
- Check whether your provider is signed up to the automatic compensation scheme.
- Look for bill credit within the expected payment timescale after the issue is resolved.
Compensation should normally be paid no later than 30 calendar days after the delayed start is resolved or the service is cancelled.
